Hi Eve, In my Elective History class we are to do an oral assessment on a historical fiction author and their book. I chose you! :-) However we need to do a biography on the author and all I could find on you was, how you went to Oxford, how you enjoy the research you do for your novels and how you are married with 3 children! I NEED more!!! Could you please email me back on this email address ******* Thanks Daniella
I am also Julia Golding - so you can find my biography at the website for that pen name.

Yes, all from me just under another pen name.

Hi Eve! I bought The Queens Lady and The Rogue's Princess without realising that they were part of a series as I thought they were stand alones. When I started reading them I obviously realised that they were part of a series and that I was missing the first one! After searching book shops all year I finally got The Other Countess for christmas and have read them all about four times each!!! I love historical fiction and these are the perfect mix of history romance and everything I love in a book!!! I LOVE these books and am DYING to read a fourth about Tobias!!!!!!!!! He is my absolute favourite Lacey brother, and he is the proof you are a brilliant writer as you made me love him!!! :-D You said in some of the other posts that you would like to write one if your publishers let you and I want to know who I need to write to to make them agree!!! :-D
Thank you. I'm not sure I'll get the chance to write about Tobias but I have been asked to write a duet on WW1. First part, Dusk, comes out in June.

I bought the UK edition of the Rogue's Princess by mistake in Germany 2 years ago while I was on vacations, not knowing it was the 3rd book. Let just say that after almost two years I still cry while reading it and feel so connected to Mercy's personality and POV. Hope to see your books soon in Latin America
Thanks Marie. There is a Mexican version of the first one - The Other Countess.

Just had to say that The Lacey Chronicles are absolutely incredible. ^_^ After reading The Other Countess, I didn't think it would be possible to expect as much from The Queen's Lady. I was pleasantly shocked to find that I enjoyed The Queen's Lady even more. I can't wait to read The Rogue's Princess. Amazing series. Fantastic writing, fun humor, and hypnotic love interests. I truly enjoy this series. ^_^
Thanks Nikkita!

Hey I love these books. I got them for Christmas and finished them on Boxing Day! They were amazing! I've read your Joss Stirling books too and loved them, and I'm starting to read The Diamond of Drury Lane. Will you write a story about Tobias?
I'm not sure that will happen which is a shame as I had saved the Armada for him!

I have always loved books like the other countess. I wish i could have lived then rath than now. But out of all those books the other countess is my favorite. Each Page is Just Amazing. The Story line is Flawless. I just cant say it enough but i love this book.

There's Seeking Crystal already out - take a look. Next Eve book in the UK is next year. It is called Dusk and is about WW1 - I hope you like it!

Hi Eve, I love your writing, under all your pen names; I was really excited when I discovered Eve Edwards and Joss Stirling were the same person as they were both favourites of mine! I have all three of the Benedict book audio books and was wondering if there are any plans for the Lacey Chronicles books to be made in to audio books? Alice
Not that I know but sometimes these things crop up without me knowing in advance. I'll announce on my Facebook page if that does happen. New book from me next year called Dusk.

Dear Mrs Edwards, I was wondering wether you were thinking about writting another book in the same format as the other countess (romance) e.t.c as i have read the triology several times and love them!!!!! I was also wondering wether you would write it about Tobias or Sarah (the youngest lacey children) adding in snippets of all of the other couples lives and/or children? please could you get back to me if Id love to hear from you. Many thanks Sacha Robson.
Dear Sacha Next spring a new book from me is coming out - Dusk. It is first of a two parter on WWI and yes it is a romance. I hope you enjoy it. The second part is naturally called Dawn.

Greetings and Salutations! I know the dreaded form letter…but wait give it a chance! It is for a really worthy cause! I am the coordinator for Illumination Youth Arts, a free program for teens at United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA. We have several wonderful opportunities for our young people to become inspired and grow with the arts. Most of the youth we work with are from lower income families and cannot afford luxuries like books, art supplies, cameras and other items we provide. If you would like to know or see more about the program please visit our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/illuminationarts UNC is in the process of converting space at our Westside Senior Center to a teen after school space. One of the projects is replacing the library room with teen friendly books. We currently have no funding for this project so we have had to be creative in filling our shelves. I apologize for the form letter but in addition to limited resources I have limited time. This is the easiest way for me to contact the most people in the shortest amount of time. I also understand that not everyone I contact is going to respond or have materials to donate. But my philosophy is you never know until you ask. The whole nothing ventured, nothing gained approach. I am writing to authors of young adult fiction/nonfiction requesting books. I have several options; select one, two or all. Here is what I am asking for: 1. A copy of your book or books for our library. Youth can borrow books from the library in the teen space. 2. Twelve copies of a book for the Bookworms Book Club. Youth involved with the club will receive their own copy to enjoy and keep. Autographs are welcome! 3. If you send books for the book club would you be willing to participate in a discussion with the youth after they read the book? This would take place over the phone or Skype. To them, you would be a celebrity! 4. Provide a digital copy of your book to be placed on computers in the youth lab. This will allow kids to read on computers or place a copy on the digital devices they may have. 5. Any book related swag you are willing to part with always welcome. Any or all of the above options would be appreciated. You will help us in our quest to encourage literacy and ignite the imaginations of our youth! As we are a non-profit I can also provide you a letter acknowledging the donation for tax purposes. You can send the book to: April Holgate UNC Illumination Youth Arts Coordinator 1004 Jackson Street, 3rd Floor Scranton, PA 18504 For the digital copies you can either email them to my email aholgate@uncnepa.org or use the same email to find our account on Amazon and send the digital copy there as a gift. We have the kindle for PC set up on the computers in our computer lab so that is currently the easiest option. The three main formats the students use are PDF, MOBI and EPUB. Any of those will be fine. Thank you so much in advance for your time and consideration. I wrote down ‘happy.’ They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. - John Lennon
Hi April As I live in the UK, the best way to do this is to contact my publishers in the US with your request as they would have copies of my books and the contractual rights for any ebooks.

So excited to hear you're writing a book set in WWI. I'm completely fascinated by that time period. Your books (under all of your pseudonyms) are on my auto buy list, even though it means paying overseas shipping. Can't wait to see what this book's about.
Thanks K.

Dear Eve, You mention another Eve Edwards. Can you tell me more about material written by the other Eve Edwards as we have a 15 yr old reading a book called Yearnings by Eve Edwards at the moment. Is this one of your books and if not could you tell me why you would not recommend it please? Thank you, Kay
Hi I know nothing about the other author except that when I put my name into the Amazon search engine a book published end 2011 popped up in the list that I hadn't written. Looking at the description it sounded like erotic romance, hence the warning I put on my website to be cautious. (It is not on my author page if you want to see how to cross reference on Amazon.) I obviously can't help someone else having the same name but thought it only fair to highlight the issue as the typeface for the author name looks similar to that on my books. To be clear - I have written three novels to date: The Other Countess, The Queen's Lady, The Rogue's Princess. These are teen romances so hopefully suited to all of that age and above. I can't see Yearnings on Amazon so you'll have to check that one out. Hope this helps. Eve

Hello. I was wondering if your book is going to be made into a movie or if it already is? And i would like to ask(if it is not too late) if I can try out for Ellie. I am her age and have dark hair. Also, I love her character.
No film plans as yet I'm afraid!

Hello. I am a huge fan! I just finished reading The Other Countess and I was in love with it. I can not wait to read the next book. I was wondering if there is another book that talks about Will and Ellie. If there is not I would love to know what happens to them in the future.
Thank you. You do see them in the other books. Eve

Hi! your books have made me want to be an author - still in the planning stages at the mo. I hope you do write a book for Tobias; I think you might find making a girl up for him could be hard though but a lot of fun. Sarah's would probably make an interesting story as well :D
I agree - have to see if the publishers want more. I'm working on a two part historical story set in WW1 next but after that, maybe...

HI Are you in the UK? If so you can ask your local shop to get you a copy if they don't have them on the shelf. Or buy them through the link on homepage.
